How can Reflexology help Lymphoedema Patients?
There are documented case studies of cancer patients with Stage1 lymphoedema in legs and arms, that have had good results in reducing fluid in their limbs. They still received their professional lymphoedema treatment, but found Reflexology helped with their reduction as well. Clients can be shown how to do this themselves at home as well. If they find it hard to reach their feet, show them how to work Reflexology on their hands.
This is why we have now introduced an Advanced Reflexology online course for Lymphoedema therapists. It gives therapists the opportunity to upskill along with more tools to use to provide better patient care.
